How a five-day build works
Five days from content to launch, in four fixed stages. This page is the whole process: what happens on each day, what we need from you and when, and what you see at each step.
A landing page runs the same stages and finishes on day 2 or 3. A multi-page site of 5 to 8 pages uses all five days.
Before day zero
You send an enquiry with what you do and what you need. We reply within one working day with a fixed quote, a page list, and a start date. Once you confirm, you get the content checklist and a short design brief.
Day zero is the day we receive your content and brand assets. Not the day you sign, not the day you pay the deposit. That distinction is what makes the timeline something we can keep, because the one thing a five-day build cannot absorb is waiting for copy.
Kickoff and content
We confirm the scope, collect your content and brand assets, and set up hosting and the domain. The clock starts here.
What happens
- We check everything on the content checklist has arrived and read all of it
- Scope is confirmed in writing: the page list, forms, integrations, and what is out
- Hosting is created and your domain is connected, so launch is a switch rather than a scramble
- Your design brief is turned into a detailed description of the business for the design stage
What we need from you
- Logo and brand files, or a clear steer if you have none
- Copy for every page, or your completed content brief if we are writing it
- Images, contact details, social links and any legal text
- Access to your domain, and to Google Search Console and Analytics if they exist
What you see
A written confirmation of scope, the page list and the launch date.
Design and build
You see design directions for your business, pick one, and the pages get built on it.
What happens
- Several complete design directions are produced from your brief and reviewed
- You pick one and mark what to change; revisions come back the same day
- Inner pages are designed in the chosen direction
- Every page is built on Next.js, responsive from 320px up, with placeholders for your content
What we need from you
- Your choice of direction within a few hours of seeing them
- One list of changes on the chosen direction, not a trickle
What you see
The design directions side by side on day 1, and the revised direction the same day. A staging link on day 2.
Content and search setup
Copy goes in, forms are wired, Analytics and Search Console are connected, and the search and AI-search setup is done.
What happens
- Your copy and images go into every page and are checked for structure and consistency
- Contact forms and WhatsApp links are wired and tested end to end
- Basic SEO: titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap, robots, Search Console verification
- Search and AI-search setup: structured data, entity description, llms.txt
- Google Analytics 4 with form, WhatsApp, call and email events as conversions
What we need from you
- Answers to any questions about the content, usually a handful, same day
- Access approvals for Search Console and Analytics if not already given
What you see
The staging link with real content, working forms and every page in place, ready for review.
Review and launch
One revision round, final checks on every screen size, then the site goes live on your domain.
What happens
- You review the full site and send one list of changes
- Changes are applied and every page is checked on phone, tablet and desktop
- Performance, accessibility and search checks run and pass
- The site goes live on your domain, the sitemap is submitted, and analytics is verified as firing
- Handover: edit access, a short walkthrough, and the source in a repository you own

What you see
Your website live on your domain, and a handover note with where everything is.
What protects the five-day promise?
Four rules. Each one closes a gap where website projects normally stall.
- The clock starts on content
- Day zero is when your content and brand assets arrive. If they arrive on a Tuesday, launch is the following Monday. If they arrive two weeks later, so does launch.
- Fixed scope
- The page list and features are confirmed in writing on day zero. Anything added after that is quoted separately and scheduled after launch, so the build never stalls.
- One revision round
- You review the whole site once and send all changes together. Small fixes after launch are covered; a second full round is a separate job.
- Same-day answers
- During the build we ask few questions, but we need answers the same day. A day of silence is a day off the timeline.
What happens after launch?
You own the site, the domain and the analytics account. Small fixes in the first week are covered. After that, you can edit the site yourself using the handover walkthrough, or take a care plan and have us handle hosting, updates, monitoring and ongoing search work each month.
